Moreover, by letting people know more about you, you can add depth and personality to your professional image.
2. Many have expressed that they are a team player and have given examples during a job interview, in order to secure their position. Another excellent way to stand out on the job is to be an excellent team player. To be a good member of the team you have to: (A) Keep your team of people on-task and (B) Do an outstanding job of maintaining cohesiveness among team members. What happens next? You will be prized as a valuable asset to your organization.
3. One of the many things, Benjamin Franklin, is known for is saying, “Time is money,” and it is. So, be extra cautious of what time you arrive to work each day. For example, if you are supposed to start work at 9:00 am, it may not be such a bad idea to arrive five minutes before everybody else does. Why is this important? Your boss will view you as a very dedicated employee.
4. Some believe perception is reality and believe there is no room for humor in the workplace. But, you actually can create a positive and happy work environment by using a humor. While it is inevitable that you will sometimes experience stress at work, you can choose to approach certain work situations with humor. Though the ultimate goal is to be a productive member of the workplace, you can brighten up your day and the days of your co-workers, by injecting a little humor every now and again.
